Champions Cup Youth Honor Division: format, teams, crosses and who participates

This year the first round, of the quarterfinals, is played roundtrip and it will be from the semifinals when the four surviving teams meet in a venue to decide in the semifinals and final to a single match who is the champion of the tournament.

Champions Cup Crosses

The quarterfinal crosses were determined by a draw that resulted in a Madrid derby between Real Madrid and Atlético. The other pairings were: Deportivo-Las Palmas, Málaga-Athletic and Levante-Barcelona. The first leg matches of the first three crosses are played this Sunday, June 13, while Levante-Barcelona has been postponed to Wednesday 16, since the Catalans did not finish the regular phase in group 3 until last Thursday 10. The return matches are played on the weekend of July 19 and 20.

In the draw, the semifinal crosses were also defined. The winner of Real Madrid-Atlético will face the winner of Deportivo-Las Palmas and the other semi-final will feature the qualifiers from Levante-Barça and Málaga-Athletic.

Who participates in the Champions Cup

The tournament brings together the champions of the seven Junior Honor Division groups and the best of the seven teams ranked second, which in this case was Real Madrid. The tournament champion gets a place in the next edition of the UEFA Youth League if their main team is not qualified. That is, Deportivo, Las Palmas, Levante, Málaga or Athletic will play the European competition if they win the tournament.
