Carlos Mouriño, president of Celta de Vigo, assured this Friday that his club will consider the sale of the Peruvian international Renato Tapia if it receives an offer that satisfies him financially and the player so wishes.
“If an offer of three or four million comes, we would totally oppose it, another thing is that an offer comes from a large team, with a good amount of money, and he wants to leave,” said the celestial leader at a press conference.
In this sense, the highest shareholder of the Galician entity stressed that the last word “always” will be the footballer because “if he does not want to leave, we would never sell the player.”
“Another thing is that Wall, at the chance of a lifetime, come to the club and tell us not to bother you and let you go. That is something else because there we would value it, ”said Mouriño.
The Celtic last summer signed the Peruvian midfielder at zero cost, after his relationship with him ended Feyenoord. In his first experience in Spanish football, Tapia has become one of the revelations of the championship, although a muscle injury will prevent him from playing the last four games.
Unquestionable both for Oscar Garcia Junyent at the beginning as now for Eduardo Coudet, the Peruvian will close the course with 32 games played, all of them as a starter. In total, he has played 2710 minutes.
