Cándido Conde-Pumpido, after filing the complaint for sexual assault: “It was all premeditated, she drugged me”

Two days after the complaint for alleged sexual assault by the lawyer of a Brazilian prostitute was filed, Cándido Conde-Pumpido has visited Friday to offer his version of everything that happened. “She wanted to hurt me, if she had found a weapon she would have done it”has said.

It all started last October 19. Four days after ending her relationship with Lara DibildosCándido Conde-Pumpido went to a nightclub with some friends and met Aline: “I wasn't in my best condition after the breakup and I didn't want to have a stable relationship with anyone. She left a jacket at my house and asked to see us again so I could give it to her. A week later I gave it to her. That's when it comes up a more intense relationship that is no more than merely circumstantial. She finds it maddening that people talk about my ex and, when I realize this, I try to distance myself.” The lawyer continues: “I avoided seeing her and picking up the phone. One day, she stands at the door of my house, jumps over the fence and sneaks into the garden. She comes with food, she tells me she wants to take care of me but obviously that wasn't it. the intention, I had everything prepared out of spite”.

The lawyer, who claims that he did not know what Aline did, recounts what happened inside the house: “When she entered there were two friends in my living room, one of them left immediately because he is a Glovo delivery man and, precisely, due to geolocation was able to prove that she was not in my house when she claims that I offered her.” He denies that they had sexual relations that night: “I was already tired of listening to her, I asked her to leave and she was offended. I didn't want to take her home because I didn't trust being in a car with her and I woke up my friend to for him to take her. She flew into a rage. At that moment anything could have happened depending on her background.” It must be remembered that Aline is accused of having stabbed a man in Brazil, for which she has been arrested.

Finally, everything got out of control: “She was out of control in the garden, I left the house through the back door and she asked to come back in. Since no one answered, she called the police.” They detained him at the hospital: “My mother was worried about me and she asked me to go get a check-up. They detained me there. I spent ten hours in the cell.” An experience that, he assures, he would like not to have experienced: “It doesn't hurt me as a lawyer. The smell of the dungeon is very particular, they give you a mat, a blanket and you spend hours and hours without the possibility of communicating and without knowing anything else, beyond the first call they allow you to make, which is not very broad either.

“She acted out of spite”

Conde-Pumpido affirms that the security cameras installed in her house were her salvation: “They are security cameras that record by movement and are placed in places of passage. She knew it and in fact, in the images you can see how they get the back. There are recordings in which she is seen handling the drinks and putting something into the glasses. I'm convinced she drugged me.”he has confessed. “What he did was something premeditated. He acted out of spite, out of revenge… I don't know.”

The lawyer is very hurt by everything that happened: “I have had to prove the innocence of something that has not happened, and it is very complicated. If I had not had cameras at home I would not have been able to do it because the victim's statement prevails. It is What hurts me the most is the damage that a false accusation can do to all those women who do suffer these crimes.

“I was never unfaithful to Lara Dibildos”

The most kind and emotional moment of the interview was carried out by Lara Dibildos. Conde-Pumpido dated her for seven months and they broke up just four days before Cándido met Aline. The Brazilian, in fact, assured that he had alternated both relationships: “It's a lie. Lara had no doubt at any time that these relationships did not overlap because we were together 24 hours, there was no opportunity for there to be third parties.”

“I am very fond of Lara,” the lawyer confessed. “I will always thank her for giving me back the desire to have a relationship again, because my divorce left me in a depressed state. She has been in very difficult times.” Of course, it closes the door to a possible reconciliation: “I adore Lara and I love her very much, but our relationship has gone to another level, although I don't want him to leave my life. There is no possibility of reconciling us, she does not consider it after what has happened and I do not want to hurt her, a public relationship with me would not bring her anything good.”
