Bompastor, a pioneer on the pitch and on the Lyon bench

Miguel Muñoz, Giovanni Trapattoni, Johan Cruyff, Carlo Ancelotti, Frank Rijkaard, Zinedine Zidane and Pep Guardiola They make up the brief list of winners of the Champions League as footballers and coaches. From them, only four achieved it with the same club: Muñoz and Zidane, with Real Madrid; Ancelotti, with Milan; and Guardiola, with Barça. That of Blois is one of those pioneers who put women’s football in the spotlight in their country. The daughter of Portuguese parents, her passion for the ball awoke in her because her father, a referee, took her with him to matches.
