BETIS 1-OSASUNA 0 Joel and Borja sign up and Betis is approaching European positions

Betis is approaching European positions after beating Osasuna and opening February as January ended. A 2021 in which in addition to a stellar Channels, he begins to find those two pillars of any winning team: a safe goalkeeper and a striker who scores. Joel Robles made Osasuna bitter, better than the Verdiblancos during many phases of the match, and Borja Iglesias scored the winning goal in the final stretch, when there was time for very little. It is the Galician's third goal in two games after deciding the eighth of the Cup in extra time against Real Sociedad.

Joel was also tremendous against the txuri-urdin. Two hands in hand in the first half and another in the second saved the Madrid goalkeeper by becoming a giant against the same enemy, Jonathan Calleri, one of those strikers full of virtues who is lacking, it is not little, something more tino against the opposite goal. Always at rest before the break, Betis barely hit once but with a lot of danger. Canales crossed and Loren finished off the post. An offside disabled Víctor Ruiz, who had scored in the rejection.

Jagoba Arrasate raged in the band at the beginning of the second half, when Rubén García had thrown off a point-blank header and Calleri finished his recital of failures against the rival goalkeeper. By inertia, Betis stepped on the opposite area more in the second half, but his goal did not come in a positional game but in a counter that of Tello and Canales that culminated only before Sergio Herrera with a magnificent mince Borja Iglesias (1-0, 78 '). Osasuna had had his moment, which he did not return, although he threw himself up and had some for the tie. Borja could also score the second, with an empty goal but too far after a mistake by Sergio Herrera in the clearance.
