MADRID, 13 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish skier Audrey Pascual has been proclaimed champion of the European Cup in adapted alpine skiing in her category of physical disability, according to the Spanish Federation of Sports for People with Disabilities (FEDDF).

The 17-year-old athlete from Madrid, who belongs to the Fundación Also team, was awaiting the delivery of the trophy for the 2021/2022 season after the planned finals in Switzerland were canceled.

Audrey, who suffers from blilateral agenesis and needs two leg prostheses to walk, was already champion of the European Cup in the 2019/2020 season, and in this way she continues her progress together with her coach, Jaime Hernández.

Next season, Audrey will continue training in both adapted skiing and surfing, another of the sports she does, with her mind set on the 2026 Paralympic Games, to be held in Milan-Cortina d’Ampezzo.
