This Friday, Athletic Club presented the first kit for the 2023-24 season, the course in which it celebrates its 125th anniversary, in which the thinner white stripes and the five red stripes share the limelight with Castore, the new manufacturer and sponsor of the Biscayan club.
The shirt is inspired by the path lived by Athletic Club during its 125 years of history, sporting the classic red and white stripes, accompanied by the shield in the upper left part, as well as the usual details from Castore, the new technical supplier.
On the occasion of the club’s 125th anniversary, the shirt bears the commemorative logo of the milestone stamped on the back of the neck together with an Ikurriña, representing Athletic’s particular connection with the Basque Country.
The outfit is completed with a V-neck and sleeve cuffs with contrasting colours, black pants and knitted socks with a rojiblanco finish at the top.
On the other hand, the goalkeeper kit maintains the classic black color of the Athletic goalkeepers, with light vertical white stripes and details of the San Mamés façade.
