“FC Internazionale Milano announces that it has reached an agreement for the consensual termination of Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal’s contract. The club would like to thank Arturo for his two years at the ‘Nerazzurri’ culminating in the conquest of three titles”. This is the content of the Inter statement.

Vidal arrived at Inter in July 2022 from Barça for a transfer of one million euros in variables and signed a three-year contract, so he had one to fulfill.

In the ‘Nerazzurra’ shirt, Vidal played 30 games in all competitions in his first year, scoring two and winning Inter’s first Series A since 2010. In his second season, 2021-2022, he played 41 games, scored two goals and Italian Supercoppa and Coppa were awarded.

Everything agreed with Flamengo

Vidal was already in Rio on Wednesday to close his agreement with Flamengo and even at night he witnessed in Maracana the 7-1 that his new teammates endorsed Deportes Tolima in the second leg of the Copa Libertadores round of 16.

Now Vidal, who has already passed a medical review, will return to Rio to close his deal and sign a contract until December 2023. In this way he returns to South America after leaving Colo Colo in his native Chile in 2007 to sign for Bayer Leverkusen. In 2011 he went to Juventus, in 23018 to Bayern Munich and in 2020 he joined Barça. After his time at Inter, he begins a new stage in Brazilian football.
