Real Valladolid midfielder Anuar Tuhami suffers a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and will have to undergo surgery, meaning he will miss the rest of the season, the Blanquivioleta club confirmed this Saturday.

“Diagnostic tests have confirmed that Anuar Tuhami suffers from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee,” the entity announced. “Anuar is expected to undergo surgery in two weeks, when the inflammatory process in the affected area subsides,” he reported.

The ceutí was injured in the first minutes of the friendly match that the pucelanos played this Thursday against Osasuna. The youth squad has accumulated 211 minutes of play spread over three LaLiga Santander games at the start of the season.
