Alexis Sánchez gives the Super Cup to Inter at 121 ‘

MADRID, 13 One. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Chilean striker Alexis Sánchez made the 2-1 victory for Inter Milan over Juventus in the 121st minute, on the verge of penalties, in the final of the Italian Super Cup.

Sánchez jumped to Giuseppe Meazza in the 75th minute, replacing Lautaro Martínez, who had achieved the 1-1. The ‘Juve’, with less offensive presence during the game, went ahead through McKennie, to pass from the Spanish Álvaro Morata.

The final had rhythm and alternatives for both, but Inter finished better. The ‘Juve’ was entrusted to Dybala, like the premises to Alexis, but the second part lowered the intensity. An error by Alex Sandro left the goal on the Chilean’s horn.

Simone Inzaghi, who came to the Inter bench last summer, celebrated the first title thanks to the Chilean, to maintain the victorious moment of the reigning Serie A champion, with his sixth Italian Super Cup, another reconquest since 2010.
