Alcoyano beat Cornellà 2-0 and takes all three points

Alcoyano added three points to their locker after winning 2-0 against Cornellà this Saturday at El Collao. Alcoyano arrived at the game with strengthened spirits after achieving a 1-2 victory against FC Andorra. For its part, Cornellà lost by a result of 1-2 in the previous match against Sevilla At. With this defeat, the Cornellanense team was placed in fourteenth position after the end of the game, while Alcoyano is fourth.

The first half of the confrontation started for Alcoyano, who opened the scoring with an own goal by Borja García in minute 32, thus ending the first half with a 1-0 in the light.

After the break, in the second period came the goal for the local team, who put more land in between with a goal from Dani Vega in the 82nd minute, ending the match with a final score of 2-0.

Alcoyano coach, Vicente Parras, brought Dani Vega, Imanol García and Angel López onto the field to replace Jona, Escudero and Antón, while for Cornellà, Raúl Casany replaced Alex Pla, Gonpi and Andrada with Dorca, Pipo and Albizua.

The referee admonished Daoudi and Lillo Castellano by Alcoyano and Mancuso by the Cornellanense team.

With this victory, Alcoyano rises to 24 points and is placed in fourth place in the standings, with a playoff position for promotion to the Second Division. For its part, Cornellà remains with 16 points with which it reached this fourteenth day of the competition.
