The meeting between FC Barcelona and the agent of Gavi (17 years), Ivan de la Pena, concluded at the edge of two in the afternoon. The final conclusion is that there is no agreement yet between the parties, although the harmony is good. The meeting took place in the Camp Nou offices and lasted just over an hour.
Barça has prepared a new renewal proposal for the youth squad and although it has not yet been accepted by the agent of Gaviare working jointly between both parties.
It continues to talk on the basis that Gavi ends up renewing his contract, there is a good ‘feeling’ between the parties to reach a successful outcome but negotiations continue to square an agreement that satisfies both parties.
Duration of the contract
The Barça I wanted to make a contract Gavi until 2027, although the player may not want such a long contract. Barça wants a termination clause of 1,000 million euros. The agreement does not seem imminent for the renewal of the young Andalusian midfielder, although the good news is that, meeting by meeting, progress is being made.
