2-0 Lugo annuls Tenerife with maximum effectiveness

Lugo made profitable his two shots on goal and annulled Tenerife, which had three consecutive victories in LaLiga SmartBank and suffered casualties during their visit to the Galician team.

With this victory, the people of Lugo equaled their record for consecutive games without losing in their fiefdom -eight- in the same season.

The Anxo Carro fort, where Lugo has not fallen with Mehdi Nafti, received a Tenerife in positive inertia, but diminished, without specific wingers available in the first team, including Shashoua. The insular team coach opted to overtake Pomares on the left and list Valentin Vada on the right.

On the grass, direct and intense football prevailed, with few arrivals. In that game, Lugo moved better and took advantage of the first option he generated to put it in his favor.

After twelve minutes, the Lugo players wove a wall between Juanpe and Roberto Canella on the left wing, the winger assisted from the baseline and Cristian Herrera, free in the area, struck across with his left foot. The ball passed under Sipcic's legs and passed Dani Hernández.

The locals defended it as a treasure. They did not hesitate in being necessary to cut the advances of the Tenerife people, blocked. Ander Cantero did not intervene until the beginning of the second half, when Álex Muñoz tested him with a shot from the front.

The game progressed stuck, with many interruptions and little football. That benefited Lugo, who also increased the income at 54 minutes with a heeled foul, in three quarters of attack, which Hugo Rama executed and slipped into Dani Hernández's goal without anyone touching it. The VAR reviewed it for the influence of Manu Barreiro on the play and confirmed the goal.

Ramis breathed energy with the entry of Javi Alonso and Jorge Padilla. Tenerife moved desperately, with difficulties to find holes.

The island team had the resource of shooting from a distance. First Aitor Sanz tried, at the hands of Cantero, and then Jorge Padilla, who sent the ball to the side of the net. He failed to get into the match, controlled at all times by the locals.
