The 'Selfie Stadium' initiative, which opens this Friday at the Vigo stadium and is designed by the Spanish startup 'Book Your Stadium', has allowed celestial fans to virtually move to the Balaídos stadium through the television U and scoreboard to cheer the players on.
The fans, selected by lottery, had to send a photo along with a message of encouragement before the match. The images and messages received appear on the stadium's television screen and on the video scoreboard at different times during the match.
'Selfie Stadium' is one of the many experiences currently available on the 'Book Your Stadium' platform, which offers football lovers the possibility of playing a match in their team's Sports City, witnessing a match with a club legend or have video calls with your favorite players.
‘Book Your Stadium’ is an official partner of ten LaLiga Santander clubs and will soon announce agreements with eight other top-tier clubs. In addition, in the coming months it plans to expand to France, Italy, Germany and the United Kingdom, as well as transfer its model to other sports such as basketball, tennis or golf.
