Toledo hosts a new edition of the Spanish Championship of Paralympic Athletics Promises

The athletics track of the Toledo Gymnastics School will host this Saturday and Sunday a new edition of the Liberty Seguros Spanish Championship of Paralympic Promises, where a hundred young people between the ages of 10 and 18 will meet.

The event is organized by Liberty Seguros, sponsor of the Paralympic Athletics Team and partner of the ADOP Plan, the Spanish Federations of Sports for the Blind (FEDC), Sports for People with Intellectual Disabilities (FEDDI), Sports for People with Paralysis Cerebral and Acquired Brain Injury (FEDPC), Sports for People with Physical Disabilities (FEDDF) and the Spanish Paralympic Committee (CPE), with the collaboration of the City Council and the Toledo Sports Board.

The competition, structured into six age categories (under-10, under-12, under-14, under-16 and under-18), both male and female, will bring together representatives from Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, Madrid , Basque Country, Valencian Community, Galicia, Catalonia, the Canary Islands, Galicia, Murcia, Aragon, Andalusia and Cantabria in more than twenty tests that include speed, middle distance, jumps and throws.

The duration of the championship will be extended in the double session on Saturday (from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 4:45 p.m. to 7:20 p.m.) plus the morning session on Sunday (from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.). A double day in which the best of the Spanish Paralympic athletics youth academy will meet.
