The Unseen Loren

had participated in 20 days of this League, since his arrival in the summer as on loan from Betis –with an a priori non-compulsory purchase option–, but never until now as reference at the tip of the attack. Only two games had been lost Thomas Rauland in both it had been Nany Dimata chosen by Vicente Moreno. But in Anoeta the stars aligned Loren Morón to claim. A Lost opportunity by the man from Marbella, who was only the protagonist in an involuntary action.

All the spotlights were placed on Loren at the edge of the break, when Robin Le Normand submitted him twice –kicked from behind to the knee and grabbed the shirt– in a penalty that neither Santiago Jaime Latre considered nor the VAR made him review. But that not even the striker himself protested, which mischievously could have at least forced the game to stop. Invisible was Loren in that determining action, just like in the rest of the match.

Despite acting as a center forward, he did not finish off even once, neither on goal nor outside. He was not associated either, because his contribution in 77 minutes was limited to giving two good passes (of five attempts), dispute 13 duels (of which he won seven), with seven losses and three recoveries. An incidence so insufficient that Moreno sat him on the bench in favor of Dimata.

Except for a major surprise in the remaining eight days, or in his contract, Loren will go down in Espanyol history for his great goal from 40 meters of the rival goal against Celta, against whom he can repeat this Sunday if De Tomás does not recover in time, so sterile (it was 3-1) that it serves as a metaphor for his career at Espanyol.

In this league he has 544 minutes, and four games as a starterin which there finished off ten times, but only two of them between the three suits: the aforementioned goal and in Espanyol-Betis. The team that owns your rights. To which he will return in just three months.
