The RFEF will honor this Tuesday the U-17 women’s team after winning the World Cup

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) will pay tribute this Tuesday, November 1, to the members of the Spanish U-17 women’s team, world champion in the category after their victory in the World Cup final held in India, according to reports the federal entity.

“On the occasion of the international success of the Spanish U-17 women’s team that has been proclaimed world champion in India, the RFEF will pay tribute on Tuesday, November 1, starting at 12:00 in the Luis Aragonés Hall,” announced the RFEF on the act that will take place in the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas.

The soccer players from Kenio Gonzalo were proclaimed this Sunday world champions of the category for the second consecutive edition, by beating Colombia (0-1) in the final. The DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai (India) witnessed a new success for Spanish women’s football, which shows that it has a future to be and remain among the best. The Spanish defended the title achieved four years ago in Uruguay thanks to an own goal by Ana Guzmán in the 82nd minute.
