Benzema was clearly ahead but the images shown on television do not clarify whether the ball came from the Brazilian or the Getafe defender. There were no shots that could clarify that circumstance. However, the goal did not go up to the scoreboard. Benzema asked the referee for explanations.
“It is not very clear who hits the ball. They have seen it very quickly… The RFEF shows transparency, that they put that image.
