The Premier advances the matches after the closing of bars at 22:00

The Premier League has confirmed this Wednesday that it reschedules its matches from matchday 3 and 4 after the decision of the British Government to close the bars at 10 p.m. from this Thursday, as indicated by the English league in a statement.

The competition will hold all its matches between 5:45 PM and 8:00 PM. “Following the announcement by the UK Government to close pubs at 10 pm, Premier League matches will now take place between 5:45 pm and 8:00 pm”, explains the statement.

These new schedules will take effect from Monday, September 28, in the match that will face Fulham and Aston Villa at 5:45 p.m. and later, at Arsenal-Liverpool, which will start at 8:00 p.m. on that same Monday.

The Premier League decision will allow all fans to continue watching football matches in the bar. With that measure, the last match scheduled at 8:00 p.m. ends before 10:00 p.m. and the last minutes of the clash will not be lost.
