The peñas del Valencia publicly request the dismissal of Anil

The peñas of Valencia have publicly requested Peter lim the removal of the current club president Anil Murthy. This has been decided by a vote at the Extraordinary Meeting of the Agrupació de Penyes that was held this Friday and in which 231 supporters' clubs were represented.

La Agrupació, a group that to date, at least its current board of directors, had not been critical of the Valencia leadership, issued a statement in which it expressed its disagreement with the sports and social management of Meriton Holdings, thus requesting the exit of Anil Murthy and claiming Meriton's commitment to meet the deadlines for the construction of the new stadium.

These points were approved by an overwhelming majority. Thus, 223 of the 231 supporters' clubs voted in favor of requesting Murthy's resignation and 224 said yes to writing their disagreement with Lim's management. The force of the statement will be merely testimonial, although it is one more focus of the social distancing that has flourished strongly in recent weeks among the property of the Valencia and different sectors of Valencianism, in this specific case of the Agrupació de Penyes.
