MADRID, 18 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The North Face brand has launched its ‘Summit Series performance’ collection, its clothing and footwear collection for mountaineering and freeride, both skiing and snowboarding, designed for the most radical explorers and ‘riders’.

As part of the ‘It’s More Than A Jacket’ campaign, The North Face digs into the minds of winter high mountain athletes to try to empathize with their needs. The main objective is to create a series of technical equipment that keeps adventurers dry and warm.

Available Tuesday, the Summit Series has been reimagined for the future, with a layering system designed to fit every adventure. The collection has been built hand in hand with the team of athletes, and backed by days of exploration pushing each garment to the limit.

The Summit Series Snow range includes a Verbier jacket and bib, offering ‘Freeride’ style with performance in the big mountains. The jacket features a breathable and waterproof ‘Futurelight 3L’ shell, with sealed seams and stretch fabric.

Also, the Breithorn Hooded Jacket, lined with 800 fill ‘ProDown’ insulation, provides warmth with minimum weight and maximum compressibility. In addition, it guarantees a high level of warmth even under humid conditions.

For its part, the Summit Series Alpine Climbing range has the Torre Egger jacket and pants, designed for alpine climbing and made with fabrics for comfort and breathability in the most extreme weather conditions.

Likewise, the Casaval hooded jacket, made with recycled materials and in which ventilation can be adapted depending on the temperature and conditions. Featuring highly breathable Ventrix technology, this midlayer is designed to be able to tackle a wide range of alpine activities.

These Summit Series Snow and Alpine Climbing collections are complemented by the Summit Series footwear range, developed with highly technical, flexible and lightweight technologies for those looking to climb faster, lighter and further.
