The FIBA ​​U17 Men’s World Cup and the logo are presented this Thursday in Malaga

The Hall of Mirrors of the Malaga City Council will host this Thursday, starting at 6:00 p.m., the presentation of the 2022 FIBA ​​Under-17 World Cup for Men, which will be held in the province of Malaga from July 2 to 10 , and the logo of the competition, reports the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB).

The president of the FEB, Jorge Garbajosa, will attend the presentation; the Minister of Education and Sports of the Junta de Andalucía, Javier Imbroda; the mayor of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre; the Deputy for Sports of the Provincial Council of Malaga, Cristóbal Ortega; the Organic Vice President of the FEB and President of the Andalusian Basketball Federation (FAB), Antonio de Torres; as well as representatives of the municipalities of Alhaurín de la Torre, Marbella and Fuengirola, institutions involved in the organization of the World Cup.

The towns of Marbella, Alhaurín de la Torre and Málaga will host the championship during the group stage. The final phase will take place at the José Martín Carpena Sports Palace in the capital of Malaga. For their part, the qualifying matches from ninth to sixteenth place will be played in Alhaurín de la Torre.
