Barcelona will celebrate the 15th anniversary of Extreme Barcelona, an urban sports championship, with a new edition at the Parc del Fòrum, from September 15 to 17, of what is the largest event in southern Europe in this modality.
To commemorate the first edition of the event in Barcelona, 15 years ago, the organization is preparing a new competition that will be presented as a “unique opportunity” for athletes to test themselves before the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The championship will bring together sports such as skateboarding, BMX, street scootering, park scootering, breaking, climbing and 3×3 basketball, urban sports that will assault three main venues: Central Park, Street Plaza and the Urban Stage, which are already preparing to receive more than 500 athletes.
“A very special edition of Extreme Barcelona is coming up, the 15th anniversary.
