The Danish golfer Rasmus Lot was proclaimed champion of the XV Daikin Madrid Open of Adapted Golf of the Madrid Golf Federation, after a last day with the extra complication of the wind, on the El Encín Golf course, in Alcalá de Henares.

Lot, who came into the tournament as one of the favourites, fulfilled his role with two rounds of 75 shots (150 shots, +6 over the field par), beating the Swedish Johnny Granberg, second this Sunday with a total of 155 shots. . Meanwhile, Felipe Herránz was proclaimed champion of Madrid with a result of 164 strokes.

Proof of this is this tournament that has brought together some of the best players with disabilities and fills us with pride for the work done,” said Ignacio Guerras, president of the Madrid Golf Federation.

The Daikin Madrid Open brought together almost a hundred of the best players in the world with different disabilities that make visible the integrating and inclusive capacity that golf supposes in the sports life of a multitude of golfers, without age or gender limits.
