MADRID, 29 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The General Assembly of the Spanish Olympic Committee (COE) has expressed this Wednesday its unanimous support for the management of the president of said organization, Alejandro Blanco, and has approved accounts that reflect a surplus of 3 million euros with which they will be able to face the athletes’ awards at the Paris Games.

The economic results of the last cycle of the COE are the best in the recent history of the COE. Blanco has highlighted that the organization continues to work for athletes, coaches and federations and reviewed the alliance with its partners and sponsors to reach all sectors of society.

Likewise, the president of the COE has highlighted those national and international programs that are giving optimal results and that will serve as a reference for sport, as well as celebrating the “great results” obtained by Spanish athletes in Olympic competitions, world championships and Europe.

The year 2023 has closed with a positive result of almost 3 million euros, according to the Ernst&Young auditors, who have shown their satisfaction with the accounts and their transparency.
