A week later, the lawyer of the former Minister of Finance and Economy has stood up for the queen of hearts. “Isabel Preysler took what she put in her will. Mr. Boyer’s will was fulfilled to the letter. She did not decide anything because everything was in writing,” explains the lawyer Purificación Pujol to the magazine Week. “What the law said was done,” he also highlights.

Although he has not disclosed the assets that Preysler inherited, he has clarified that Villa Meona was never owned by Boyer: “The Puerta de Hierro plot was paid for entirely by Isabel Preysler, as stated in the deed. You can ask Mr. Tapias, that he still lives. Mr. Boyer was small, for there to be a single peseta that was not recorded. Everything is known… where the account came from, where that income came from and it was from Isabel Preysler’s work. That’s how everything was paid what the lot cost me”.

At the same time, he has ensured that Tamara Falcó’s mother is not a cold woman, as Laura painted her in the interview she gave before she died: “It does not sell to speak well of Isabel, but she has an impeccable behavior, that is her upbringing. Isabel is a good person and has always acted in good faith.”

Laura, in her posthumous letter, also accused Isabel of not having taken enough care of Miguel after the stroke. The Boyer’s lawyer, on the other hand, denies it: “Isabel has always behaved well. She helps without knowing that she is helping. She has had people at her service who were sick and has accompanied them. She has even paid them the treatment”.
