The triumph of María del Monte that defeats ‘Sálvame’ 10 months after her disappearance: 200,000 euros in compensation

While the case of the robbery at his home is still open and both his nephew Antonio Tejado As the rest of those allegedly involved in the crime remain imprisoned, Maria del Monte has received a relief from the courts to partially mitigate his pain: La Fábrica de la Tele, the producer of the extinct Save mehas to compensate her with 200,000 euros.

The sentence now seems to be completely final after the Provincial Court has rejected the producer’s appeal and ratified the previous sentence in which she was convicted of disseminating in Save me “unverified information about the victim’s life.”

Specifically, the program presented by Jorge Javier Vázquez dedicated four broadcasts in 2021 to talking about a hoax about an alleged courtship of the tonadillera. The matter ended up in the Court of First Instance number 16 of Seville, which fully upheld the artist’s claim and imposed the financial penalty that she will now receive after the rejection of the appeal with which they tried to avoid the fine.

Regarding the financial amount, the judges have now ratified that Inmaculada Casal’s wife will receive the 200,000 euros initially stipulated “not only because the information issued was given exceptional treatment, exclusivity and explosive content, as a claim by the audience, but by repetition,” they explain.

It is worth remembering that in 2014 the Supreme Court already sentenced La Fábrica de la Tele to pay 50,000 euros for speculating on María del Monte’s sexual relations. The production company thus accumulates sentences against it that already total several million euros if the cases of Cayetano Martínez de Irujo, Raquel Bollo or Alfonso Merlos are added.
