Sporting de Huelva presents an ERTE for all its staff

The Sporting Club de Huelva has communicated that it has requested the authorization of a Temporary Regulation File (ERTE) by “force majeure” due to the coronavirus.

The Huelva club has declared in a statement that “effective application “of measures of alarm state decreed by the pandemic has generated “an absolute stoppage” of sports activity. This situation forces him “urgently” to take the decision to suspend the employment contract of all players and club employees, with the aim of avoiding “irreparable economic damage”.

The club's management has processed before the labor authority the request for suspension of employment contracts, for reasons of force majeure after this Monday has been communicated by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) the indefinite suspension of competitions until the authorities lift the restrictions imposed.

The albiazul group explained that the labor authority must respond to your request within a non-extendable period of 5 days and he has informed the players and the rest of the club's employees of these procedures.

From the club management they have stressed that it is “especially important” to remember that you are facing “an absolutely exceptional global situation” but that it is temporary, so they will call the players and employees as soon as the restrictive measures imposed by the Government are over.

The Association of Women's Soccer Clubs has also been informed to proceed to inform the representative unions of the soccer players of the Women's First Division.
