Spain thrashes Germany in their third match of the European roller hockey

MADRID, 17 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish men’s roller hockey team signed on Wednesday its second win in the European Championship that is being played in Paredes (Portugal), thanks to its 2-11 win over Germany on the third day.

Spain took another step forward in the continental event after its 11-0 against Andorra and 4-4 against Italy. Guillem Cabestany’s men will arrive with seven points in the big group stage match against hosts Portugal, with options to go to the final.

After the tie in the last moments of the Italians, Spain removed that bitter taste of the previous day with a strong entry against Germany. Barroso, Toni Pérez, Pau Bargalló, Marc Grau and César Carballeira left five Spanish goals at halftime (1-5).

In the resumption, Carles Grau stopped the German attempt to get into the game and Ferran Font, Carballeira, Ignacio Alabart, Sergi Aragonès and again Toni Pérez served the win in a match that marked the debut with the absolute of Martí Serra.
