Spain still depends on itself to be in the final phase of the Nations League

The Spanish team fell this seas in the Kiev Olympic, in the first defeat in its history against a Ukraine plagued with casualties. Despite the reverse, La Roja still depends on itself to finish as first in Group 4 of League A and be in the longed-for final phase of La la UEFA Nations League.

Those of Luis Enrique remain leaders, thanks to the tie (3-3) in the Germany-Switzerland, with seven points, one more than Germans and Ukrainians in a table that closes Switzerland with only two points after four games played. If the Spanish team beat the Helvetians on November 14 in Basel and three days later the Germans in the La Cartuja Stadium in Seville, La Roja will finish with 13 points, a figure that would be unattainable for Germany Y Ukraine, which will be measured next day at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig.

Spain will close this group stage against the Germans, who already gave up a draw (1-1) in Stuttgart against the Red on September 3. On November 17, La Cartuja will host a super duel of world champions that would hang the “no tickets” sign, if not for the fact that no tickets will go on sale since the game will be played without an audience.

Before their decisive pulses with Switzerland and Germany, the Spanish team will see them on November 11 with Netherlands, in a friendly in Amsterdam which was to be disputed last March and which was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
