Sebastián Mora, runner-up in the Track Cycling Champions League

MADRID, 4 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish cyclist Sebastián Mora was left with honey on his lips in the 2022 edition of the Unión Ciclista Internacional (UCI) Track Cycling Champions League, as happened last year, when he came second in the endurance modality behind the Swiss Claudio Imhof.

Mora, six times European champion, finished two weeks of competition with five rounds held in four countries tied at 125 points with Imhof, but the Swiss took the title for his best position in the last round this Saturday at the London Olympic velodrome , Lee Valley VeloPark.

The Swiss was second in the Elimination, while Mora, who started leading the day, was fourth, which settled the balance in the final draw on points. Last year, Mora was also at the gates of gold in resistance, when he lost in the last round to the benefit of the American Gavin Hoover.
