Rosalía changes Rebeca León, her lifelong representative, for her mother and sister

Singer Rosalía and his representative for almost six years, Rebecca Leon, who discovered her and raised her to international stardom, have decided to break up and take separate professional paths. Rosalía’s new managers will be her mother Pilar Tobella and his sister Villa Connection. Both have always been involved in the artist’s career. Her mother will be the administrator of her assets and the company that manages the profits, Motomami, and her sister will continue to work as a personal assistant.

The separation of the star and her hitherto representative occurs in an “amicable way” and “on the best of terms” after a period of almost six years of working together.

From now on it will be Pilar Tobella, the artist’s mother, who will be in charge of all the technical details. Rosalía has always recognized: “My mother is my pillar.” After the success achieved by her daughter, Tobella has decided to leave her previous job to become the administrator of Rosalía’s assets. She is now responsible for Motomami, the company through which the singer’s accounts are managed.

Rosalía’s sister, Pili, has always been her right hand, accompanies the singer to her events, cares about helping her with social networks, contacting stylists and finding the best manicure centers, among other tasks.

León will focus on its content production company

According to the representative’s environment, she has only stated that she wishes the singer the best. León has assured that he feels “pride and gratitude for everything they achieved together”, when Rosalía went from being an unknown flamenco artist to a world superstar. In 2018, Rebeca met Rosalía, with whom she fell “in love” when she saw her at a concert, as she has recognized on occasions.

León plans to dedicate himself to moving forward with his production company, Lionfish Studios, with which he closed a content contract with Sony Music last year. Also in 2022 he has co-produced the remake of the film The Father of the Bride, starring none other than the actor Andy García.

Among the projects he is developing are Alice with Gunpowder & Sky; Redemption Song with Fifth Season and director Jessica Kavanaugh; Mona Carmona with Jose Ignacio Valenzuela, Paul Perez Pictures, Malule Entertainment and Lucas Akoskin; and Biscayne Baby with Sebastián Ortega and Enrique Murciano, as well as a project that Rebeca is developing with Steven Levinson for HBO.
