Riyadh University completes RFEF training for Saudi Arabian coaches and players

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) concluded this Friday its various training sessions with coaches and players from Saudi Arabia, on the occasion of the Spanish Super Cup and which are part of the 'Football is the way' campaign. , promoted by the federal department of Equality and Sustainability.

After the meeting that took place in Jeddah with the Saudi senior team and the visit and practices on the campuses, this Friday the University of Riyadh was the center of said training activity. In it, the coaches received details about women's football in Spain, the model that made the 'Roja' world champion.

According to a press release from the RFEF, “motivational talks” were held by Thais Henríquez, member of the RFEF Board of Directors, and there was also “training instruction and practices in the field”, in this case given by the RFEF Coaching School.

“We have been able to offer what we do in Spain, they have it as a reference, they are very participative, they have desire and interest and that says a lot,” said Montse Tomé, senior Spanish coach. “This is going to make women's football more visible,” concluded Tomé.
