Ponferradina once again loses a vital piece after payment of the clause

The SD Ponferradina has lost again, for the second consecutive season, with the departure of the midfielder Oscar Sielva to the SD Eibar, a vital piece in their schemes upon payment of the termination clause, as happened with the forward Isi Palazon, top scorer this year of a Vallecano Ray who has just achieved promotion to LaLiga Santander.

In this way, Deportiva has lost two of the players who decisively contributed to the return of the Berciano team to the silver category, the Murcian winger with decisive goals in the promotion phase and the Girona midfielder with the last goal that certified the goal before Hercules.

The option that other rivals with greater economic power could “fish” in the Blue and White team, with one of the lowest salary limits in LaLiga SmartBank, has been repeated in two consecutive seasons.

On the first occasion, Isi Palazón's departure took place in the winter market, since after Rayo Vallecano received a significant amount for the departure of Adrián Embarba, he undertook the payment of the termination clause -around 600,000 euros- of the Murcian player.

Now the same situation has been repeated, although at the end of a championship in which Deportiva had a great campaign achieving eighth place, with a decisive Oscar Sielva, despite the fact that some injury made him miss several games, becoming the second top scorer sportsman with ten targets, only behind the everlasting captain, Yuri de Souza with eleven.

The Catalan midfielder, a player of the maximum confidence of coach Jon Pérez Bolo, was undoubtedly one of the great revelations, despite his 29 years, of the championship, demonstrating an enormous reliability in the set pieces where he was one of the best specialists in the category with several goals from free-kick.

Sielva's departure to SD Eibar, the Bercianos' rival next season, will leave a similar amount in Deportiva's coffers to what Palazón's did.
