‘Playball Agency’ relaunches its summer program in the United States for soccer players between 14 and 18 years old

‘Playball Agency’, the only one hundred percent women’s soccer agency in Spain, will once again develop its ‘Playball Elite Program 2023’ this summer, a program that takes place in the United States, in Orlando, and aimed at players from between 14 and 18 years old.

Thanks to this program, which will take place between July 2 and 16, those registered, who will be accompanied at all times by professionals from the agency, will be able to live “an unforgettable experience”, as emphasized by ‘Playball Agency’, a company run by Jaime Gomez Bardon.

During their stay in Orlando, the young soccer players will enjoy two weeks in the focus of university coaches; training and playing in the best facilities; Living in a community with different players from universities and High Schools in the United States and knowing first-hand the country’s university experience with a view to promoting a sports and academic career and, above all, personal development.

The players will have training sessions with American ‘coaches’; matches in which they will be analyzed; daily English classes with a teacher provided by the agency; training in sports psychology with an expert in the sector such as María Blanco; or visits to universities with talks about the educational/sports context of these centers, without neglecting the leisure aspect with visits to the beach, the city, the popular ‘malls’ or even the experience of living the 4th of July up close. , Independence Day in the United States.

Through the ‘Playball Elite Program’, these young women have the opportunity to train and play under the eyes of many American coaches and thus increase the possibility of receiving university scholarship offers. The programme, in which national football talents such as Vicky López (FC Barcelona), Marina Artero (Athletic Club) or Sandra Villafañe (Madrid CFF), all of them U-17 world champions last year, have already participated, is a showcase for Spanish athletes but, above all, an experience that bets on the future of each one of them.

The objective of this program is to pool Spanish women’s soccer and the universities of the United States, with the clear mission of supporting female athletes/students, becoming a promoter of the sporting and academic growth of the players, generating a huge Social impact.

In this sense, ‘Playball Agency’ stresses that “the empowerment of women and the great development that women’s football is undergoing in recent years is a reality, but it is still far from equality and equity”. “‘Playball Agency’ has these values ​​as its banner and knows the importance of education for the development of any person, which is why it is committed to equal opportunities through this program,” the agency stresses.

For this reason, her ambition is to position her summer program “as a reference in women’s football, being able to give the opportunity of experience to a greater number of players of all ages, granting scholarships to footballers with greater difficulties, using it as a springboard for development overall of these athletes”.
