Nigeria coach sacked after failing to qualify for World Cup

Augustine Eguavoen has been dismissed as coach of the national team Nigeria immediately, after staying out of the Qatar World Cup 2022reported the african country federation (NFF).

It points out in a statement that both Eguavoen and his coaching staff leave their position; and that the name of the substitute will be announced soon who will be in charge of directing the destinies of the ‘Super Green Eagles’.

Mohammed Sanusigeneral secretary of the NFF, thanked the technician and his assistants for the work carried out in these two and a half years that he has been in office.
