Neymar asks the court to order Barça to pay the 43,650,000 euros that the club stopped paying him as a renewal bonus when he unilaterally left the club, paying PSG his termination clause, plus interest.

Barça only paid 22 million in a first payment and when the contract was terminated, he no longer paid the rest, an amount for which they litigated in the courts in crossed lawsuits. The judge dismissed the application for Neymar and partially appreciated the Barça.

The Barça team decided not to appeal, but Neymar did on August 4 and the club challenged his appeal on September 7.

In his sentence, the judge considered that the renewal bonus was part of the footballer's salary and based on what the collective agreement marks, he made a proportional proration on the effective time in which he rendered his services. Finally he sentenced Neymar to the return of 6.7 million.
