Mollejo: “I prefer Bordalás to be demanding with me, so I can improve”

Victor Mollejo, midfielder of Getafe, assured this Thursday that Jose Bordalás He is a “demanding” coach and he admitted that he handles this demand “in the best way” and he likes it because “it means that he can improve” as a footballer.

Mollejo, 19, is on loan this season to Getafe by the Atlético de Madrid. At the moment, the Madrid team has only played two games in which it adds up to 45 minutes.

“I am happy to be entering into the coach's plans and I hope to show that I am valid for him“Said the Toledo midfielder, who gave his impressions about how José Bordalás is in short distances with him.

“It is demanding but I prefer it to be that way because it means that I can improve and help the team. I handle the demand in the best way because I know it is to improve ”, he confessed in an interview published by the club.

During the weeks he has been a Getafe player, Mollejo highlighted “the intensity in each training session and how much Bordalás wants to improve”.

“I think that's very good because in the end a club like Getafe, wherever it is, is an added bonus for the people who play, because that means things are being done well,” he confessed.

Another aspect that has surprised the young footballer from Toledo is the familiarity of the azulón team. “Getafe is a very family club and that is something that has surprised me. That familiarity he has is to be appreciated because it does not happen everywhere, “said Mollejo, confident in” being able to contribute a grain of sand “to the club's successes this season.

Due to his youth, Mollejo recognized that his “dream is to go as far as possible as a footballer.”

“I don't set a clear objective for myself. To this day I am happy and I am proud to play for this club. I am very happy to learn from very legendary players like Ángel Rodríguez or Jaime MataI've always seen them on television ”, he concluded.
