Munir returns after his positive for Covid-19

Sevilla forward Munir El Haddadi will return to training this Sunday after overcoming the mandatory quarantine after testing positive for Covid-19. The player has remained isolated at home while Julen Lopetegui's disciples have carried out a preseason stage in the Alicante town of Algorfa to prepare for the European Super Cup against Bayern Munich.

Sevilla announced this Friday that the El Escorial forward will be at the coach's disposal this Sunday once the team returns from its stay in Alicante and resumes training in the sports city.

“Munir will join the work with everyone and has his options to enter the call for the dispute of the European Super Cup in Budapest. The forward has been isolated and doing physical work alone from the positive to the medical discharge ”, explains the club in a note after the pertinent PCR tests carried out on the player that have given negative results.

Munir tested positive before the start of the preseason for the Andalusian team more than two weeks ago.
