André Onana (25 years old) approaches Olympique de Lyon. According to information from L’Équipe, the French club wants to incorporate the Ajax goalkeeper and would have already advanced the talks so that the operation reaches a successful conclusion.
Lyon, led by Peter Bosz, have chosen Onana and would also have a preliminary agreement with the goalkeeper, who remains suspended for doping until 4 November after the TAS reduced his sanction for three months. Two months before that date, the player would be allowed to train with the team.
Despite the suspension, Ajax sent the player a renewal proposal, since his contract ends in 2022. However, Onana would have parked the possibility of expanding the link with the 'ajacied' club to study other options outside of the Dutch soccer.
The Lyon coach already had Onana under his command when he was coach of Ajax and now he would like to have him again in his time in Ligue 1.
