Logroñés becomes strong at home and manages to beat Tudelano (1-0)

Logroñés added three points to their locker after achieving a hard-fought victory against Tudelano, which they beat 1-0 this Friday at Las Gaunas. Logroñés entered the game with the aim of overcoming their points in the standings after suffering a 2-0 loss in the previous match against Talavera de la Reina. On the visitors’ side, Tudelano was defeated 1-2 in the last game they played against Valladolid B. After the result obtained, the team from Logroño is fourth, while Tudelano is nineteenth after the end of the duel.

During the first part of the game none of the players managed to score a goal, so during the first 45 minutes the score did not move from the initial 0-0.

In the second half, luck came to the team from Logroño, who opened their scoreboard thanks to a goal from Iker Guarrotxena moments before the final whistle, in minute 86. Finally, the match ended 1-0 in the light.

In the chapter of changes, Albert Aguilà’s Logroñés relieved Rodri, Aitor Arregui, Aridane and Sánchez for Fer Cano, Paolo Medina, Siddiki and Herrando, while Tudelano coach Carlos Pérez Salvachúa ordered the entry of Cavafe, Compaore, Jesús Cedenilla and Ivan Cabellud to replace Caballero, Aranzabe, Agus Alonso and Laerte.

The referee showed six yellow cards, two of them to Logroñés (Javi Castellano and Duba) and four to Tudelano (Laerte, Aranzabe, Royo and Álex Gualda).

With these three points, Logroñés occupied fourth place with 53 points, with a playoff spot for promotion to the Second Division, while Tudelano was in nineteenth place with 20 points at the end of the match.

On the following day, Albert Aguilà’s team will face Racing de Santander, while Carlos Pérez Salvachúa’s Tudelano will face Extremadura UD.
