Letizia wears heels again in Barcelona and does a beige twinning with King Felipe

Star appearance of the entire royal family after the visit of Leonor and Sofia without their parents to Jaume Plensa’s workshop. The Borbón sisters, following the agenda of events planned in Barcelona, have met with the King Felipe and Queen Letizia at the Meliá Lloret hotel to enjoy a meeting with some of the winners of the Princess of Girona Award over the last 15 years.

The Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofia have chosen very comfortable and summery looks for such a busy afternoon, both in white. Leonor, with flared jeans and a loose blouse with a satin check print, designed by Roberto Verino. Her sister, much more bohemian, wore a cut-out linen outfit by the French firm Ba&sh. The sisters have blended in so much that they have even chosen the same footwear: nude-coloured wedge espadrilles by Macarena Shoes.

Queen Letizia, for her part, has also attracted attention with her outfit, mainly because she has returned to high-heeled sandals after almost three months of wearing flat shoes due to a fracture in the middle toe of her right foot. Of course, she has done so with caution, or, in other words, with a ‘block’ heel, one of the most comfortable options for the feet. These are Hugo Boss sandals in white and made of nappa leather with a thin strap at the ankle. They cost 250 euros and are now reduced to 144 euros.

The Queen has combined this footwear with a dress from Mango (45.99 euros), one of the best-sellers of the season, sold out for weeks. It is a model made of linen and cotton, midi-length and draped, which Queen Letizia has personalized by removing the only original sleeve of the design. The color, nude, matches Don Felipe’s jacket, thus marking one of the trends that are coming back strongly this season: ‘twinning’, that is, dressing the same as your partner.

In addition, Queen Letizia debuted a new handbag on Tuesday. It is by Carolina Herrera and is the Initials Insignia Soft Bucket model, made of white Baobab leather with the 35th anniversary bracelet of the House of Herrera plated in gold. A magnificent piece with handles and chain that is on sale for 880 euros.
