LaLiga Genuine shows its magic in Malaga and adds emotion to its outcome

Sportsmanship, good football and the camaraderie of LaLiga Genuine Santander flooded Malaga this weekend, with the second phase of the 2021/22 season at the legendary La Rosaleda stadium, on the occasion of its 80th anniversary.

The competition, pioneering and unique in the world, developed by LaLiga through its Foundation, had nearly 300 players in Malaga. A total of 27 games supported during the days of Saturday and Sunday by the fury and animation characteristic of the most genuine fans in the world of football.

Once the venue in Malaga is finished and in the absence of the teams from the Respect and Sportsmanship groups scoring points during the second part of the phase that will be played in Cádiz next weekend, Sevilla FC and the Barça Foundation lead the Companionship group tied to 18 points. In the Fair Play classification, the Club Gimnàstic de Tarragona is in the lead with a total of 176 points.

The weekend concluded with the traditional presentation of medals to all the participants by the president of the LaLiga Foundation, Fernando Sanz, the LaLiga Ambassadors Aritz Aduriz and Fernando Morientes; the judicial administrator of Málaga CF and president of the Málaga CF Foundation, José María Muñoz; as well as other institutional representatives.
