Keylor Navas will not play the 'semis' against RB Leipzig

Paris SG are looking forward to the decisive semi-final match against RB Leipzig to sneak into the Champions League final, although they will have to do so without their starting goalkeeper. Keylor Navas has not recovered in time from the muscle injury that occurred during the duel against Atalanta and is out against the German team.

Thomas Tuchel will have to line up Sergio Rico, who has already replaced the Costa Rican in the quarterfinal match after Navas was injured.

The loss of Navas will be weighty for a PSG that dreams of winning the ‘orejona’ after several years of unsuccessful attempts. That of the goalkeeper might not be the only absence of the French side, given that Idrissa Gueye finds it difficult to play against Atalanta after experiencing discomfort during training.

The only good news for Tuchel was the return to training of Marco Verratti, Thiago Silva and Layvin Kurzawa.

The future of Sergio Rico from next week is still unknown. If PSG was willing to pay the 10 million of his purchase option, he changed his mind after an unfortunate performance by Montequinto in the League. But when the League was suspended in France he returned to claim his services for the final phase of the Champions League.
