Keylor Navas, voted best goalkeeper in Ligue 1

In the absence of official confirmation, Keylor Navas has won for the first time the award for best goalkeeper of the season in Ligue 1. This has been confirmed by Canal Plus France, highlighting the Costa Rican's course and succeeding Lille goalkeeper Mike Maignan, who won the award in 2019 and was nominated this season.

The UNFP, the Union of French Footballers, will announce the winners just as Ligue 1 ends on Sunday. The ex of the Real Madrid could lose the title in favor of the Lille, that with winning in the field of the Angers would be champion. Keylor is the first PSG goalkeeper to win the Ligue 1 best goalkeeper award since Salvatore Sirigu in 2014.

Since landing at PSG in 2019, Keylor Navas has become a key player for the Parisian team. His stops have brought the club closer to its first Champions League, reaching the final in 2020 against Bayern and the semi-finals this year. In Ligue 1, he has been PSG's best player, with the permission of Kylian Mbappé.
