MADRID, 24 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Spanish center Juancho Hernangómez managed to make a ‘double-double’ in the defeat of the Toronto Raptors at home against the Brooklyn Nets (112-98), while his brother Willy Hernangómez had few minutes in the victory of the New Orleans Pelicans against San Antonio Spurs (129-110).
Good contribution from Juancho Hernangómez to the Raptors game, with those double figures (10 points and 10 rebounds) in almost 33 minutes of play, in which he also stole 3 balls.
The Spanish international was the second most used player by the coach, Nick Nurse, behind only forward OG Anunoby. The best scorer for the Raptors was Gary Trent Jr. (19), but there was little they could do against Kyrie Irving’s 29 points for the Nets.
In contrast to Juancho, his brother Willy Hernangómez was barely on the court, with 5:21 minutes in which he scored 3 points and grabbed 1 rebound. Little contribution in a duel with a lot of prominence for his teammates (and competition) Zion Williamson and Jonas Valanciunas, with 32 and 22 points respectively.
–SPANISH PLAYERS STATISTICS:
JUANCHO HERNÁNGOMEZ: 10 points, 10 rebounds and 3 steals.
WILLY HERNANGÓMEZ: 3 points and 1 rebound.
