Jorge Javier thinks of the replacement of Lara Álvarez by Laura Madrueño in ‘Survivientes’: “This is television”

Lara Alvarez y Laura Madrueno, the ‘woman of the weather’ on Telecinco, have starred in one of the television surprises of the final stretch of the year. As was known a few days ago, the first will be replaced by the second in survivors. The reality show host Jorge Javier Vazquezhas spoken about it.

“This year Lara Álvarez will not be in Survivors 2023. I am going to miss her. Lara is a great professional who has made the format so much her own that it seemed impossible that it was not in an edition. But she won’t be there”, writes the man from Badalona this Wednesday in his blog Lectures.




The communicator applauds the courage of his partner, who leaves survivors but not Mediaset, when leaving this job that has given her so much joy: “You have to be very brave to give up a success and Lara has been. She has all my support, my love and my gratitude for everything that during so many years he’s given the show and me.”

Despite how sad she is about her departure, she only has good words for the new presenter of the format: “Now it’s time to welcome Laura Madrueño with open arms, the person who takes over from her. Television is this. A welcome and a constant parting”.




With her he has already made good friends in Save meduring the times that Madrueño came to give meteorological information: “I discovered Laura thanks to Filomena, that meteorological phenomenon that turned a good part of Spain upside down. We discovered an extraordinary professional: we were so enthralled with her explanations that we wanted her to come everyday”.

In this sense, he only has praise for her: “Fast. With a great sense of humor. Fun. Committed to all that it means to take care of our planet. Passionate about sports and the marine world. Your choice is a success. It’s going to be a bomb in Honduras, I’m convinced, and we with it,” says Jorge.

Telecinco, for its part, already presented her as a passionate adventurer and an environmental activist: “Great passionate about the marine world and sports, she is co-founder of the production company We Are Water Films, from which she makes with her submarine documentaries team. In 2021 she published her first book Somos agua, in which she analyzes the problems that afflict the oceans. Laura is currently one of the most influential profiles in terms of ecological awareness and care for the environment”.

Personally, Madrueño said “yes, I want” to the photographer and architect alvaro port last June 18. They formalized their celebration on board a boat in Formentera. “Where I am happiest is sailing on a sailboat, in the sea. I wanted people to be able to experience that and take a memory with them,” Laura herself told the same weekly.
