MADRID, 25 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Bilbao businessman Jon Uriarte has become this Friday the new president of Athletic Club, number 33 in the history of the red-and-white entity, after winning the elections held at the San Mamés stadium, against the other candidates Arechabaleta and Ricardo Barkala .

Uriarte, 44 years old, has won in elections that had the participation of 56.36% of the members, a total of 22,689 of the 40,257 who were called to the polls. The coach chosen for his project is Ernesto Valverde.
