The CD Badajoz SAD has communicated this Friday to its partners, subscribers and fans that Joaquín Parra, given the “urgent” situation of need for the entity and in response to the “social will”, has transmitted this Friday its share package to the buyer who “gave greater importance to the future” of the club and its “sporting growth”.
Said transmission is subject to two conditions precedent: the mandatory authorization of the Higher Sports Council, as well as the authorization and lifting of the prohibition to have the Investigating Court No. 6 of Malaga, bodies that will be contacted immediately, in order to obtain their approval and definitively perfect the sale of shares.
According to the club in a statement, by the family Parra, the operation has been legally directed by an important expert firm in sports law and on behalf of the acquiring party by the lawyer, specialist in Sports Law, Mr. Diego García (former president of Elche CF).
Among the purchase proposals presented, it is indicated, the one that gave greater importance to the future of CD Badajoz and its sporting growth has been selected, given that the proposal that “has greater experience in the management of soccer clubs has been chosen; the greater amount for the seller and the best guarantees, have been secondary in the decision”.
Next week the management team of the acquiring company will travel to the city to make contact with the club and its workers, in order to “start working intensely, undertake the appropriate measures and provide the necessary resources that allow the continuity of the company.
Representatives of the buyer have already contacted the general director of the club by phone to deposit enough funds today for emergencies and trips this weekend. “An era full of hope opens for CD Badajoz in which the fans will be the protagonists”, is highlighted.
