Jessica Rodríguez, new CF Damm Youth Women’s coach

Former professional player and coach with a long international career, Jessica Rodriguez arrives at the Damm after having directed positions of responsibility in the development of football in academies and as an elite coach in Japan, China and Denmark. In this last adventure, as the coach of the Danish B93, she won the second division league and was promoted to the first.

Her last two experiences in Spain have been as first coach of the Vallecano Ray in the first division and as sports director and coach of the Sabadell Women’s Youth Preferred. As a footballer, the midfielder competed at the first level for three years at Espanyol and twelve at Sant Gabriel.

“Defending this shield is a pride and a privilege”, declared Jessica Rodríguez. “CF Damm is a brutal club with a very big projection. For players and training methodology, for me Damm is the top-3 in women’s grassroots football in Spain. I really want to put on my boots and start training. My goal is for the team to be at 100% every day”.

She will be joined on the bench by Judith Pérez, who returns home after having been CF Damm’s goalkeeper and captain in the 2015/16 season. The young woman from Badalona, ​​who on her day arrived at the Club after playing nine years for Espanyol, has completed her academic training in the United States. At the University of Montevallo, she graduated in Business Administration and Management and played soccer for four years, winning the conference ring.

Pérez completed her studies with an MBA in Business Administration at Cumberland University, where for two seasons she was also a varsity assistant coach and goalkeeping coach. Six years later, she returns to the Club to bring her international background to the bench of the Cervecero Women’s Youth.

“I am very lucky to be able to return home,” said Judith Pérez. “I take with me everything that I have learned in these years that I have been away and I am very excited to have the opportunity to put it into practice at the Damm and make this team a family. I couldn’t have picked a better place.”
